As part of the non-governmental organization’s “Small Heart with Art” social project six Ukrainian conceptual artists are to paint on the walls of the Center for Infectious Diseases “Clinic for treatment of children with HIV/AIDS” at the National

Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt” (building 15) where HIV-positive children and children with AIDS receive medical treatment. Painting on the walls of the building as well as installations will be created by Zhanna Kadyrova, Roman Minin, Alevtina Kakhidze, Tanya Voitovych, the GAZ group – Oleksii Zolotariov and Vasiliy Grublyak.

These artists were picked among others during the open contest that took place from March till May 2015. About one thousand artists from all over the world participated in the contest.

“We want to create a joyful building for ill children, as well as draw attention to these kids with the help of art, as the new art-object will be open for public. Now the children are in social isolation, they don’t even have a playground,” – says author of the project and co-founder of the non-governmental organization “Small Heart with Art” Eugenia Smirnova.
