The first social franchise of schools in hospitals – get acquainted!

Let there be schools! On February 19th, at the UNIT.City, we presented the first social franchise of the Superheroes School. The event is unique not only on the scale of Ukraine, but also modestly convinced – in the world. We have been working for a year to pack the whole experience into one “Take and Take It” case. And as a result, the social franchise of schools in hospitals is ready!

From what did it all begin and how was the social franchise born?
This was stated by the founder of the Superheroes School Yevheniia Smirnova. From a small dream to a large-scale network of schools – the first Superheroes School on the basis of the “OHMATDYT” hospital has become a model and field for experiments. There are 33 regional hospitals in Ukraine, and everywhere there are small heroes who need knowledge, motivation and portal in the world of opportunities.

From the volunteer school to the state project
“Schools will take care of local authorities. It’s already laid in the budget “- it’s hard for us to imagine what our history would be without the enthusiasm and energy of the curator and TV presenter Nataliia Moseychuk. She did everything possible for the state to pay attention to schools in hospitals. Natalia himself simply told the whole long journey from the telethon “The Right to Education” (which collected funds for the repair of classes and the opening of the School of Superheroes), and even to the official line “12 million hryvnia for salaries of teachers in hospitals in the 2019 state budget”. After all, it was a year of not only deductibles and lessons, we traveled to the ministries so that the story of the small superheroes in the wards was not just about the volunteers, but about the state support: “This country should not go long on the shoulders of the volunteers. Volunteering and patronage should become a national idea.”

As a result, we have have letters of willing teachers who want to work in their cities and are ready to connect to schools. There is only one small thing – to open them. Just for this we have prepared a social franchise.

What does a franchise look like?
At the presentation, our fairy of franchisee Natali Kontemir told about the hard work that took place all year round. After all, the franchise is a “duplicate system of perfection”, and if there are problems somewhere, they will manifest themselves in the network of schools. But we managed to perfectly. We have succeeded in creating a “Implementation Guide” in 3 books, in which the brand beech is presented in detail, all legal, sanitary, medical and educational norms are described, there are detailed instructions on how to open the school and where to start.

This is our personal story about how to find teachers and prepare them for choosing teaching methods and drawing up classes of classes, finding rooms for classes and repairing them, equipping children with comfortable places and motivating them to study. And there are many, many lofkhaks and an action plan that will help volunteers on the ground to open the Superheroes School.

The Zhytomyr Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital was the first to sign an agreement with us just at the presentation.
