As a team of the Superheroes School we decided that it was time to prepare as many Ukrainian teachers as possible to teach little superheroes in hospitals! To support and train them we are opening a registration period to a free online course “How to teach Superheroes?”.
“How to teach Superheroes?” is the first online course in Ukraine for teachers who want to work in hospitals. During the course you will learn about the specificities of working with children, how to prepare classes in a hospital, and get helpful tools to help overcome psychological barriers. We will talk about the course of the most common diseases, and how to motivate children to study.
The course consists of 10 topics with videos, tests, additional materials, and a final exam at the end. Upon successful completion, the teacher receives a certificate for 20 academic hours. The course starts in just a week: May, 7.
Yevheniia Smirnova, founder of the Superheroes School says: “We have gathered the best experts that analyzed the specificities of teaching children in hospitals and created a list of recommendations to address frequently asked questions. Our never-ending desire to educate teachers on working in hospitals led to the creation of this important course”.
Nataliia Moseychuk, news presenter for 1+1 channel and curatur of the School: “A hospital teacher is firstly a friend, helper, psychologist, and secondly, an educator. So please go ahead and teach. Who is to teach, if not you? Invite your colleagues with big hearts like yours. The little ones need to know that they aren’t alone in their fight with the diseases, they have you”.
Check out the course and become a superteacher for our little superheroes!
The online course “How to teach Superheroes?” was developed in collaboration with the online education studio EdEra with the help of the “Renaissance” International Foundation.
