Dream lessons at the Superheroes School

26.10.21

Everything done and put into practice was once just a dream

With the beginning of the new school year, Dream Lessons have resumed at the Superheroes School. Every week in one of the branches of the Kyiv Okhmatdyt Hospital the morning begins with a special revival. Superheroes are waiting for super guests.

Over the course of a month, different journalists from the 1+1 TV channel have visited the kids at the Endocrinology Department: the TSN correspondent and host of the Pro Sport project Valeria Kovalinska and the head of the FootballHub and ProFootball Digital projects Danylo Shchestyuk.
The famous singer Sofia Egorova has visited the superheroes at the department of surgery, and the motivational coach Andreas Tissen has visited the department of neurology.
Dream lessons were also held at the Superheroes School in hospitals of Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Khmelnytsky and other cities of Ukraine.

Each such lesson begins with a warm acquaintance. We all think about why it is so important to dream every week, every day, and every hour? Our guests share their childhood dreams and how they pursued them. Meanwhile, the kids take a closer look into their bold hearts, looking for their most important dreams and their most ardent desires. They write them down, they draw them. Sometimes they willingly share their dreams with us. Sometimes they leave it to themselves. Together with teachers, children and guests we wholeheartedly launch the bright rays of everyone’s dreams into the universe and we know for sure that everything will come true!

Dream lessons in hospital schools were made possible by the 1+1 media project “Make a dream come true”, which started on April 29, 2016, on World Wish Day. Since then, the project has made hundreds of grand dreams of young hospital patients come true. And this has helped them in their daily struggle for health. After all, positive bright emotions, sincere faith in victory and in the fact that dreams will surely come true are the best psychotherapy and motivation on the way toward recovery.
