The light will win over darkness

We believe in this motto and that is why we launch a new powerful project – the Order of the Phoenix. We have united government institutions and specialists from the United States, Israel, and Ukraine to create a unique and powerful crisis psychological support program for Ukrainian children affected by the war.

Imagine that more than 300,000 children are currently in the occupied territories. Wounds, hunger, inhumane living conditions, and even deaths that these children have seen with their own eyes. It is only possible to cope with such shock with the help of qualified specialists. And this help is needed now. Unfortunately, there are no professionals in Ukraine who could provide timely and strong support to all victims.

Yes, we have amazing child psychologists, we also have incredible pros who know how to work with the seriously ill or those who have experienced loss. But none of our psychologists has practical experience in dealing with the inhuman consequences of war.

However, we will not let our children’s future be stolen. That is why the Order of the Phoenix has been launched to:

1. Create an effective method of crisis support together with the leading experts and institutions from the United States, Israel and Ukraine.
2. Set up a single centre for training, internships and certification of children crisis psychologists in Ukraine.
3. Unite professional crisis psychologists all around the country.
4. Work out methods and materials for the further training of 20,000 school psychologists who will be able to support students and parents in the war and postwar years.

We want Ukraine to have its own strong crisis specialists. And we start right now. Together with the State Institution “Superheroes School”, the company “Ideas”, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Center for Medical, Psychological, and Social Rehabilitation Support, National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt”, international partners Trans-Atlantic Medical Relief Foundation (USA), MASHAV (Israel), Live, Please Foundation (European Union) and experts Vera Feuer MD, Nadine Wilches LCSW.
