Tourniquets for the front line

11.07.22

Since the beginning of the war, we managed to find, purchase and deliver to front line 300 American CAT Gen 7 and 45 Polish Black Front.

A tourniquet is a modern version of a garrot that stops critical bleeding in seconds. Its main advantage is that it is extremely easy to use so it can be tightened even by oneself, with one hand and while losing consciousness or being under fire.

Up to now, it is the only one reliable and secure way to save life and retain proper function of hands and legs after provision of medical care.

According to NATO standards, every soldier must have two such tourniquets. However, our soldiers often have none. It is a matter of life and death. Searching for, ordering, and purchasing of high-quality American tourniquets is a complicated task. All analogs are dangerous and useless in extreme conditions.

However by means of the charitable donations, we were able to raise money for 100 latest generation American CAT and to deliver them to the front line in the first days of the war. Subsequently, our true friends Trans-Atlantic Medical Relief Foundation assisted in payment for more than 200 tourniquets that are being delivered to the flashpoint area just now.

Additionally, 45 Polish tourniquets BLACK FRONT (created using CAT design and so also easy to use) were delivered to the special units of Ukrainian Armed forces dislocated in eastern Ukraine in May; they were bought with a help of volunteers.

Tourniquets are consumables as any other tactical medicine tools. They are always needed by everyone. That is why we should not stop. Even 10 good quality tourniquets are equal to 10 saved lives. Our soldiers and paramedics are incredibly grateful to you for all donations and help.

Thank you all who support our country, we save lives together, we head toward victory together!
